What a crazy week it's been.  But I guess that's Georgia weather for you.  By the time I walked home (since my car wouldn't start or move anywhere...) the snow was 10 inches deep!

Menu!

Hey Everybody!  I hope you're out enjoying the snow SAFELY! 

We're taking advantage of our inability to go run errands for the bakery by updating the blog!

Our opening day/week has been amazing!  It's so great to finally be open and to have everyone be so excited!! We're ecstatic to be up and running!

Soups!

"Chef Neff" came in today to get all of our soups going, and it smells SOOOO GOOD in our kitchen!  

Today he was working on a Vegan Minestrone, Chicken Noodle, and "Dean's White Bean" soup.

You're gonna love it.  We'll have three kinds of soup every day and of course, you can also order soup to take home with you!  

Dean (Chef Neff) is also starting a blog that isn't quite up and running yet, but it will be all about the perfect recipes for your home and he'll answer any questions you have, not to mention a Voting Poll to see what Soups you'd like to see in Ike and Jane!

Donuts!

We've been working on our Donut production for the past three days and these are some of the DELICIOUS creations we've already got going.

Not to worry, we're gonna have everything your heart desires.

Glazed, cake, sprinkled, jelly filled, bavarian, cinnamon twists!

Well.

Cabinets?  Check.

Electricity? Check.

Food? Half Check.

Paper Products? Half Check.

Coffee? Half Check.

Plumbing? Half Check.

I've been making window decorations for hours and it's finally paying off. 

Today I'll be putting up some things in our windows so that we can really put the final touches on the inside, and so you're all AMAZED AND AWESTRUCK by how lovely the building is!

If I thought we were close before, it was nowhere near as close as I think we are now.
